Nov 03, 2013 · So now you have it all apart and everything is clean. Now we need to re-lubricate before we re-assemble. I use my own Cart Gun Oil (same as Pellgunoil) and just put a drop on my fingers and then rub over all the surfaces as I re-assemble. No heavy application on anything, just a light surface film is all it needs.
You can try a drop of pellgunoil on the tip of the co2 cartridge. If that does not fix - could need a new seal/o-ring. Call Crosman at 800-724-7486 or contact via website crosman.com for additional trouble shooting. by Crosman Official ProStaff.
Talked to Tim recently(Mac1) and advised me do not use pellgunoil so I've stopped. I'm not sure I got an answer from him about a substitute and I don't want to bother him again with the same question. So I'm wondering what others are using on the tip of the co2 cartridges? I'm concerned about treating my LD and 2300 correctly.
